23. Follow desires, sell religion for worldly gain.
24. Trivialise the shedding of blood.
25. When clemency is seen as weakness and tyranny is glory.
26. When leaders are profligates and their Minister's treacherous.
27. Scholars are libertines, Injustice is everywhere.
28. Divorce is prevalent.
29. Sudden death becomes common place.
30. Qurans are ornamented, Mosques are embellished.
31. Minarets are elevated, hearts are desolate.
32. Contracts are broken.
33. Entertainment is unrelenting.
34. Intoxicants are consumed everywhere.
35. Perversions and sexual promiscuity become accepted.
36. Traitors are trusted and trusted people are deemed traitors.
37. Women earn incomes like their husbands.
38. Covetous of material things.
39. Women travel like men.
40. Greeting occurs only between acquaintances.
41. People swear oaths without being asked to.
42. Sheep’s clothes are worn over the hearts and wolves and people’s natures are more bitter than aloes and more foul that carrion.
The first of them is the advent of the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] himself. When we realise the universe is prior 12 billion years old. 1400 years is insignificant in that time, So the Prophet's death was a sign.
The opening of Jerusalem.
This sign happened in the time of Umar ibn Al-Khattab [RA]. Abu Ubaidah, Amr Ibn Al-Jarrah was the leader of the army and he was surrounding Jerusalem and Jerusalem had to surrender. They had no chance to fighting the Muslim army. Therefore, they send a message telling Abu Ubaidah, that “we are willing to surrender and hand you over the keys to Jerusalem but we want to give it the 'Khalifah' of the Muslim”.
A death that will eat you away like a certain illness or disease that afflicts goats.
This is talking about the Plague and this Plague occurred in the 18th year of 'Hijra', and it happened in As-Sham after the opening of Jerusalem, and it was a major disaster for the Muslims. It was a great loss for the 'Ummah' because more than 25,000 Muslims died in that Plague.
Times of Trials and Tribulations, 'Al-Fitan'.
Do good deeds before the times of trials and tribulations, that are like darkness of the night. In those times, a man would be a believer in the morning, by night time, He's a disbeliever. Why?
Rasullullah [Saw] says, “They're selling their religion for a worldly benefit”.
In terms of 'Fitan' [Trials and Tribulations],
Rasullullah [Saw] pointed to the east [Of Madinah] and said: “This is the source of 'Fitan'”, and He [Saw] Said: “That's where the horn of 'Shaytan' [Evil] comes out”.
Many of the deviant’s sects came out from the East. Political unrest and then At-Tatar, The Mongolians, Ad-Dajjal.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “It comes out from the east”.
And “Yajuj and “Majuj” [Gog and Magog], They also come out from the direction of the east.
The false prophets.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “That the day of judgement will not occur until thirty [30] false prophets arise. Every one of them is claiming that he is a Messenger”.
Among them the most famous of these are two false prophets who claimed to be prophets in the life of Rasullullah [Saw], and these two were: Musailamah Al-Kazzab in Al-Yamamah and Al-Aswad Al-Ansi in Sana'a in Yemen. Musailamah Al-Kazzab; even though his Quran was miserable. He had such a huge following, 100s of thousands of people followed him, He got married to a women named Sajjah. Who claimed to be a Prophet too. When Musailamah was killed, she [Sajjah] found out that this prophethood thing is not giving her any advances, so she forgets about it and she became a Muslim again. Then we have Tulayha Al-Asadi, but he gave up this claim and he became a Muslim and they say his Islam was fine after that and then Al-Mukhtar Ibn Al-Ubaid As-Thaqfi and in the modern times we have Mirza Ghulam Ahmed. He's the founder of Al Qadianiyah.
The appearance of fire in Hejaz.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “The hour will not be established till a fire will come out of the land of Hejaz and it will throw light on the necks of the camels of Busra.”
Busra is a town in As-Sham in Syria. Hejaz is Madinah and Makkah and the area is Hejaz, from Taif all the way north. This fire was actually a volcano close to Madinah and it has been seen in the time of An-Nawawi.
An-Nawawi says: “In the year 654 Hijri. In our time a big fire came out in Madinah.”
Ibn Kathir says: “That the Bedouins were able to see this spark of light in Busra on the necks of their camels”.
So this sign already happened in Madinah.
The wars with the Turks.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “The hour will not be established until you fight the Turks; People with small eyes, red faces and flat noses; their faces will look like shields coated with leather. The hour will not be established till you fight with people whose shoes are made of hair”.
'SubhanAllah' you see the miracle in the 'Hadith' of Rasullullah [Saw], The Muslims fought with people with the exact description. The Mongolians who are considered to be from these people they actually swept over the Muslim world and destroyed it. Under the leadership Genghis Khan and 'SubhanAllah' when they entered into Baghdad, they just destroyed the whole city. It is said that they killed about 2 million and then they went into the library of Baghdad and they took all of the books and they used it as a bridge for them to cross over Euphrates river. It is said that the colour of the water of the river changed for days, it was black because of the ink in the books. They destroyed the Muslim world and then
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “And you will find some of the best people in this religion are people who started as the worst enemies of this religion until they entered the religion of Islam”.
These people, The Mongolians; even though they were victorious and they were the ruler of the Muslim world, they adopted the Islamic religion.
Increase in literacy.
The Prophet also said: “That there will be an increase in literacy; in fact so many people would be able to read and write but actually knowledge will decrease”.
And this is what the Prophet [Saw] said: That religious knowledge would decrease. Not by the books disappearing but the scholars [Passing away], so that only ignorant people will remain, and people will ask them for religious verdicts and they will give it even though they are ignorant and they will misguide themselves and misguide others.
'SuhanAllah' Imam Al-Malik, He was visited by a person. Who came all the way from Morocco. He came to Al-Imam Malik with forty [40] question. Al-Imam Malik responded with 'Allahu Aalam' [Allah knows best]. I do not know; [Allah knows best] to 36 questions. The man told him: “I came all the way from Morocco for you to tell me 'Allahu Aalam', I don't know. What will I tell my people when I go back?”. Imam Al-Malik said: “Tell them Imam Malik says, I do not know”.
There will be an increase in sexual promiscuity.
I don't think anyone can deny that this is the state of the world today with highly sexualised images and even traditional societies that normally had a good traditional moral values. Promiscuity is becoming more and more common and the
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] said: “That because of this disease would appear that people had never heard of before”.
AIDS was a disease that did not exist before. Allah sent it on the people because of 'Zina' [Unlawful sex]. 'Zina' is widespread and it is public. Look at the billboards, advertising 'Zina', Television is advertising 'Zina', Movies are advertising 'Zina', Boyfriend and Girlfriend, romance, all of these stuff; promiscuity and relationship between the humans would be just like it is the animal kingdom among donkeys. Which donkey's everything is in public.
He (Rasullullah [Saw]) mentioned “That women will be naked although they are dressed”.
I don't think this is a better way of describing the dress of some women today, with the clothes that are so tight, they describe every shape of the body.
Also the Prophet Rasullullah [Saw] mention; “That there will be the increase in the use of 'Riba'”.
Which means “Usury, Interest”. Credit cards, Mortgages; things like that, to the extent that no one would be able to escape the dust of it. Everybody will be affected by it and this is without doubt the truth of the world economy today. The whole world economy is effected and controlled by banks and the use of interest money.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “A time will come when people will not care where they get their money from. Whether it is from 'Halal' or 'Haram'”.
People just want to make money; that's their objective. For such people they would be held accountable and asked by Allah SWT on the day of judgement. Every penny; How did they make it and how did they spend it.
The mosques would become like palaces.
The Prophet Muhammad [Saw] also mentioned that the mosques would become like palaces and this is the case even though the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] ordered simplicity in the houses of Allah. The fact is that they've become more and more fantastic, more and more money is being spent on these mosques with domes and lavish chandeliers and carpets like palaces.
Abu Darda says: “If you decorate your mosques and the 'Mushaf' [The Quran], Then destruction will befall you”.
The bare footed Bedouins. Compete with each other in building, tall buildings.
This is remarkable because I invite anybody to look go and visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain. In fact, it's said there's going to be six of the tallest buildings in the world in Dubai. This is something the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] was predicting one thousand four hundred [1400] years ago. It is truly a sign of the last days.
The slave women give birth to her owner.
There will be a time when there will be so much disobedient of the parents and children would be so rude and aggressive in their dealings with their mothers to the extent that it becomes like a slave and master relationship.
Also the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] mentioned that there will be an increase in killing. To the extent that the one who is being killed and one who is killing they don't even know. Lives of people would be cheap. This is not you killing the disbelievers. It is you killing each other. It it Muslim killing Muslims. How could that happen? How could this 'Ummah’? Who have the same Lord [Allah], The same nabi (Prophet Muhammad [Saw]), The same book [Quran], The same 'Ibaadah' [Salah], The same everything. How could they fight each other? How could it happen? How did we get to this level?
The shrinking of time.
Time will not have any blessing and we can the evidence of that now. A whole day will pass by and you feel that you accomplished nothing. Years would pass by and you see that you're going nowhere. People will have a such luxurious life that time will pass by very fast. The shrinking of time due to the new forms of communication and transportation. A trip that would take you a month a few centuries ago. Now you could do it in a few hours.
The appearance of 'Shirk' in this 'Ummah'.
Worshipping the dead, worshipping graves. Some of this already happened and is still happening.
Sinking, Stoning and Transformation into animals.
So a human being will be transformed into a pig or monkey or another animal. Most of the scholars say that this is a physical actual transformation. Some of them say it is transformation of the heart.
The rise of the law.
There will be tricky years. Where the liar will be believed and the truthful will not be believed and the untrustworthy would be trusted, and the trustworthy will not be trusted.
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “The lowly; the insignificant will be talking in the affairs of the people. That person would be a leader and that person would set the plans and that person would teach”.
These are the positions of leadership that are now occupied in the Muslim world are occupied by people of this type. We have no religion whatsoever; 'Kaafir'. And the one who have the knowledge and have the understanding and have the honesty and have the ability and the capability of leading are killed and exiled. Executed and eliminated.
'Salaam' only to the ones you know.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: One of the signs of the day of judgement is that you will only give 'Salaam' to the ones you know.
Lies and fabrications in religion.
Approaching the end of time. There would be 'Dajjalun'. Dajjal are people who lie. 'Kazzabun' are Liars. They present you with talk that you did not hear and your forefathers never heard before. It was never heard by the Muslims before.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “Beware of them. Don't let them mislead you and misguide you”.
Therefore, these are people who might come in the cloak of religion and they're presenting the people with things and they've attributing this to Islam and it doesn't belong to Islam. They're making it up and they're lying with manipulation and deception. Prophet Muhammad [Saw] is warning us from them.
Abdullah Ibn Amr ibn Aas says and this 'Hadith' is in Muslim: That “There are some devils imprisoned in the oceans and they were imprisoned by Suleiman [AS]. These devils are going to come out of the seas of the ocean and they're going to recite to people words and they're going to claim that these are the revelations. They're going to say that these are holy scripture and they might even claim that this is Quran”, but nobody can temper with Quran, because Quran is protected.
People are going to go to court and lie.
Make false witness and the people who know the truth are going to conceal it. When this happens. It is the destruction of the society. Because no society whatsoever can survive without justice. Justice is the fabric that holds a society forever. Whenever it's missing. The life of people becomes miserable. Islam values justice so much. False witness was made one of the seven major sins.
The ratio of women to men increases.
An-Nawwai says: “The reason is that in the times of tribulation and trials, there will be so many wars and battles and so many men would be killed therefore there would be big difference in the ratio”.
Fifty women to one man. That is how big the difference is.
Sudden death.
That is heart attack, Strokes. These are diseases of modern society. Now it has become an epidemic and a big problem. Because of the modern life style of the technological era.
Hostility between people. People will not know each other.
You might know the person very well but the way you deal with the person is as if he is nobody. It's the law of the jungle. When the people are going to the brothers in public. They shake hands, they hug and they embrace but inside they're enemies.
The sky rains but nothing grows.
The earth is not receiving any more blessings. Maybe the people have corrupted the word so much that the rain that is falling down is not rain but it's acid rain. 'Allah-hu Aalam' [Allah knows best].
A time will come when the Euphrates river will reveal a mountain of gold.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “If you are there. If you see it. Don't take anything from it”.
The reason why Prophet Muhammad [Saw] is warning the people not to touch it. Is mentioned the following 'Hadith' narrated by Muslim,
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “People would fight on that mountain, and out of every one hundred. Ninety-nine would be killed and every one of them is saying: I'm the one who will be safe”. And that only happens with greed.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “Don't touch it. Don't take anything from it. Leave it. Don't go close to it”.
Animals and objects speaking.
This happened in the time of Prophet Muhammad [Saw].
Abu Saied Al-Khudri says: There was a Shepard with his sheep and wolf attacked and grabbed one of the goat or sheep and run away with it. So the Shepard followed the wolf and grabbed the sheep away from the wolf. So the wolf sat on its back on its tail. [So it sat like a human being would sit] and the wolf said: “Fear Allah! You're taking away from me, Food that was sent to me by Allah”. The Shepard said: This is amazing. A wolf sitting down on his tail, speaking to me like a human being. The wolf said: “I will tell you with something more amazing. Muhammad [Saw] is in Yathrib and he's teaching the people about the news of the nations before, the Shepard was shocked”. He wasn't a Muslim yet. So he immediately went to Madinah and then he went to Rasullullah [Saw] and told him what happened. Rasullullah [Saw] gathered all of the 'Sahabah' in the 'Masjid' and he told the Shepard to stand up and tell them. Tell them what you heard and he told them and then
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “The day of judgement will not occur until beasts would speak to the humans and the Cain would speak to the man and the shoe laces or the lather on the shoes would speak to you and your legs would speak to you about what your family are doing”.
But it could be a representing something else. It could be for examples: Representing mobile phones. We usually take the literal meaning of the 'Hadith'. That these things would actually speak.
The desire of dying.
Al-Bukhari narrates that
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “A time will come when a man will pass by a grave and will say: I wish I was there instead of you”.
That is how severe the conditions would be. That is because of the hardship. That the people are going through. These will be miserable times. When people will desire to die. [We ask Allah SWT for security].
The battles with the Romans.
This 'Hadith' is in Bukhari.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “There will be a treaty between you and the Romans”.
and then they will break up that peace pact and war would start.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “They will attack you. Eighty armies that will join together. Every army is twelve thousand”. 960,000. That's a big army. Rasullullah [Saw] says: “That you will have war with the Arabian Peninsula and you would win and then you would have battles with Persians and you would win. Allah give you victory and then you would fight with the Romans and Allah will give you victory and then you would fight Ad-Dajjal and Allah will give you victory”. Rasullullah [Saw] says: “The day of judgement will not occur until the Romans go to Al-Ammar or Jabir”.
This is in Syria. So an army from Madinah would go out to meet them.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “They are the best people of the earth at the time”. When they line up for war. The Romans will say: “Hand us over the ones who were taken us prisoners of war from us”. The Muslims will say: “We are never going to hand you over our brothers”. The war will start and it will be a vicious battle and the Roman army will be an extremely powerful and strong army during this battle one third of the Muslim army are going to run away. That's how tough the war will be.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “These are the ones whom Allah will never accept their 'Tawba' [Forgiveness]. And one third of the army of the Muslims will be killed and these are the best 'Shuhadah' in the eyes of Allah. Then the third left over the part of the Muslim army. They are the ones who will be victorious”.
Rasullullah [Saw] says about them: “They will never go astray. They will open Constantinople”.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “When they arrive there, they will not fight with any weapon. They will say: 'La ilaha illallah wallahu akbar'. So the first half of it will fall down. And then they will say another time 'La ilaha illallah wallahu akbar' and the second half would fall down. And then the third time they would say 'La ilaha illallah wallahu akbar'. They will open the whole town and they will enter it. They will hear a news after that. That 'Al-Massih' came out”. This is talking about 'Al-Massih Ad-Dajjal' [The false messiah].
And then Rasullullah [Saw] says: “Then Eesa AS [Jesus], The messenger of Allah would descend”. The war would 'Al-Yahood' [The Jews]. The outcome of this conflict is laid out in this 'Hadith', The Jews would hide behind rocks and trees and then the rocks and trees would tell the Muslims “O Muslim, O servant of Allah, behind me is a Jew. Come and kill him”. With the exception of a type of tree and the Palestinians who come from there. They say that the 'Yahood' are planting a lot of it. Rasullullah [Saw] says: This plant, this tree will not give out the information to the Muslim.
A blessed wind taking the souls of the believers.
Allah SWT will send a wind from Yemen. A breeze. That is softer than silk. It will take the soul of everyone. Who has even single grain of 'Imaan' in their hearts. All of the believers, their souls will be taken away. Therefore, in that time the only people who'll be left, are the people who have no faith whatsoever. And that is when the holy place will be deserted. That would also lead to the destruction of Al-Kabah.
Destruction of Al-Kabah.
It is going to be when this 'Ummah' start transgressing against the holy place.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “When that will happen then don't ask about the perishing of the Arabs”.
Then Abi Sinia would come and they would destroy Al-Khabah and they would take out the treasures of Al-Kabah. Prophet Muhammad [Saw] specifically mention to us who will destroy Al-Kabah in a 'Hadith' in Bukhari.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “Al-Kabah would be destroyed by Dhul-Suwayqatayn from Abi Sinia”.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “As if I'm seeing him. Bringing it down brick by brick”.
And that is when Al-Kabah would be destroyed. Now Al-Mahdi will not be after the destruction of Al-Kabah. Al-Mahdi is before but I'm listing him as the last sign. Because he relates to the Major signs of the day of judgement like Eesa [AS] and Ad-Dajjal and others but the destruction of Al-Kabah and this is going to be at the end of times. That is just before the day of judgement. Al-Mahdi is one of the Minor sign of the day of judgement. We as the 'Ummah' of Prophet Muhammad [Saw] believe. That there is someone named “Al-Mahdi” who would come out in the end of times and rules this Ummah with justice. After it was ruled with oppression and that he is from Ahl Al-Bayt. From the household of Prophet Muhammad [Saw], and that his name will be Muhammad ibn Abdillah or Ahmad ibn Abdillah and he will be a descendant of Al-Hasan Bin Ali Bin Abi Talib, and he will be a descendant of Fatimah Az-Zahra, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad [Saw] and that he will rule over this Ummah for 7 or 8 years.

Who claimed to be a Prophet too. When Musailamah was killed, she [Sajjah] found out that this prophethood thing is not giving her any advances, so she forgets about it and she became a Muslim again. Then we have Tulayha Al-Asadi, but he gave up this claim and he became a Muslim and they say his Islam was fine after that and then Al-Mukhtar Ibn Al-Ubaid As-Thaqfi and in the modern times we have Mirza Ghulam Ahmed. He's the founder of Al Qadianiyah.
The appearance of fire in Hejaz.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “The hour will not be established till a fire will come out of the land of Hejaz and it will throw light on the necks of the camels of Busra.”
Busra is a town in As-Sham in Syria. Hejaz is Madinah and Makkah and the area is Hejaz, from Taif all the way north. This fire was actually a volcano close to Madinah and it has been seen in the time of An-Nawawi.
An-Nawawi says: “In the year 654 Hijri. In our time a big fire came out in Madinah.”
Ibn Kathir says: “That the Bedouins were able to see this spark of light in Busra on the necks of their camels”.
So this sign already happened in Madinah.
The wars with the Turks.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “The hour will not be established until you fight the Turks; People with small eyes, red faces and flat noses; their faces will look like shields coated with leather. The hour will not be established till you fight with people whose shoes are made of hair”.
'SubhanAllah' you see the miracle in the 'Hadith' of Rasullullah [Saw], The Muslims fought with people with the exact description. The Mongolians who are considered to be from these people they actually swept over the Muslim world and destroyed it. Under the leadership Genghis Khan and 'SubhanAllah' when they entered into Baghdad, they just destroyed the whole city. It is said that they killed about 2 million and then they went into the library of Baghdad and they took all of the books and they used it as a bridge for them to cross over Euphrates river. It is said that the colour of the water of the river changed for days, it was black because of the ink in the books. They destroyed the Muslim world and then
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “And you will find some of the best people in this religion are people who started as the worst enemies of this religion until they entered the religion of Islam”.
These people, The Mongolians; even though they were victorious and they were the ruler of the Muslim world, they adopted the Islamic religion.
Increase in literacy.
The Prophet also said: “That there will be an increase in literacy; in fact so many people would be able to read and write but actually knowledge will decrease”.
And this is what the Prophet [Saw] said: That religious knowledge would decrease. Not by the books disappearing but the scholars [Passing away], so that only ignorant people will remain, and people will ask them for religious verdicts and they will give it even though they are ignorant and they will misguide themselves and misguide others.
'SuhanAllah' Imam Al-Malik, He was visited by a person. Who came all the way from Morocco. He came to Al-Imam Malik with forty [40] question. Al-Imam Malik responded with 'Allahu Aalam' [Allah knows best]. I do not know; [Allah knows best] to 36 questions. The man told him: “I came all the way from Morocco for you to tell me 'Allahu Aalam', I don't know. What will I tell my people when I go back?”. Imam Al-Malik said: “Tell them Imam Malik says, I do not know”.
There will be an increase in sexual promiscuity.
I don't think anyone can deny that this is the state of the world today with highly sexualised images and even traditional societies that normally had a good traditional moral values. Promiscuity is becoming more and more common and the
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] said: “That because of this disease would appear that people had never heard of before”.
AIDS was a disease that did not exist before. Allah sent it on the people because of 'Zina' [Unlawful sex]. 'Zina' is widespread and it is public. Look at the billboards, advertising 'Zina', Television is advertising 'Zina', Movies are advertising 'Zina', Boyfriend and Girlfriend, romance, all of these stuff; promiscuity and relationship between the humans would be just like it is the animal kingdom among donkeys. Which donkey's everything is in public.
He (Rasullullah [Saw]) mentioned “That women will be naked although they are dressed”.
I don't think this is a better way of describing the dress of some women today, with the clothes that are so tight, they describe every shape of the body.
Also the Prophet Rasullullah [Saw] mention; “That there will be the increase in the use of 'Riba'”.
Which means “Usury, Interest”. Credit cards, Mortgages; things like that, to the extent that no one would be able to escape the dust of it. Everybody will be affected by it and this is without doubt the truth of the world economy today. The whole world economy is effected and controlled by banks and the use of interest money.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “A time will come when people will not care where they get their money from. Whether it is from 'Halal' or 'Haram'”.
People just want to make money; that's their objective. For such people they would be held accountable and asked by Allah SWT on the day of judgement. Every penny; How did they make it and how did they spend it.
The mosques would become like palaces.
The Prophet Muhammad [Saw] also mentioned that the mosques would become like palaces and this is the case even though the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] ordered simplicity in the houses of Allah. The fact is that they've become more and more fantastic, more and more money is being spent on these mosques with domes and lavish chandeliers and carpets like palaces.
Abu Darda says: “If you decorate your mosques and the 'Mushaf' [The Quran], Then destruction will befall you”.
The bare footed Bedouins. Compete with each other in building, tall buildings.
This is remarkable because I invite anybody to look go and visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain. In fact, it's said there's going to be six of the tallest buildings in the world in Dubai. This is something the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] was predicting one thousand four hundred [1400] years ago. It is truly a sign of the last days.
The slave women give birth to her owner.
There will be a time when there will be so much disobedient of the parents and children would be so rude and aggressive in their dealings with their mothers to the extent that it becomes like a slave and master relationship.
Also the Prophet Muhammad [Saw] mentioned that there will be an increase in killing. To the extent that the one who is being killed and one who is killing they don't even know. Lives of people would be cheap. This is not you killing the disbelievers. It is you killing each other. It it Muslim killing Muslims. How could that happen? How could this 'Ummah’? Who have the same Lord [Allah], The same nabi (Prophet Muhammad [Saw]), The same book [Quran], The same 'Ibaadah' [Salah], The same everything. How could they fight each other? How could it happen? How did we get to this level?
The shrinking of time.
Time will not have any blessing and we can the evidence of that now. A whole day will pass by and you feel that you accomplished nothing. Years would pass by and you see that you're going nowhere. People will have a such luxurious life that time will pass by very fast. The shrinking of time due to the new forms of communication and transportation. A trip that would take you a month a few centuries ago. Now you could do it in a few hours.
The appearance of 'Shirk' in this 'Ummah'.
Worshipping the dead, worshipping graves. Some of this already happened and is still happening.
Sinking, Stoning and Transformation into animals.
So a human being will be transformed into a pig or monkey or another animal. Most of the scholars say that this is a physical actual transformation. Some of them say it is transformation of the heart.
The rise of the law.
There will be tricky years. Where the liar will be believed and the truthful will not be believed and the untrustworthy would be trusted, and the trustworthy will not be trusted.
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “The lowly; the insignificant will be talking in the affairs of the people. That person would be a leader and that person would set the plans and that person would teach”.
These are the positions of leadership that are now occupied in the Muslim world are occupied by people of this type. We have no religion whatsoever; 'Kaafir'. And the one who have the knowledge and have the understanding and have the honesty and have the ability and the capability of leading are killed and exiled. Executed and eliminated.
'Salaam' only to the ones you know.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: One of the signs of the day of judgement is that you will only give 'Salaam' to the ones you know.
Lies and fabrications in religion.
Approaching the end of time. There would be 'Dajjalun'. Dajjal are people who lie. 'Kazzabun' are Liars. They present you with talk that you did not hear and your forefathers never heard before. It was never heard by the Muslims before.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “Beware of them. Don't let them mislead you and misguide you”.
Therefore, these are people who might come in the cloak of religion and they're presenting the people with things and they've attributing this to Islam and it doesn't belong to Islam. They're making it up and they're lying with manipulation and deception. Prophet Muhammad [Saw] is warning us from them.
Abdullah Ibn Amr ibn Aas says and this 'Hadith' is in Muslim: That “There are some devils imprisoned in the oceans and they were imprisoned by Suleiman [AS]. These devils are going to come out of the seas of the ocean and they're going to recite to people words and they're going to claim that these are the revelations. They're going to say that these are holy scripture and they might even claim that this is Quran”, but nobody can temper with Quran, because Quran is protected.
People are going to go to court and lie.
Make false witness and the people who know the truth are going to conceal it. When this happens. It is the destruction of the society. Because no society whatsoever can survive without justice. Justice is the fabric that holds a society forever. Whenever it's missing. The life of people becomes miserable. Islam values justice so much. False witness was made one of the seven major sins.
The ratio of women to men increases.
An-Nawwai says: “The reason is that in the times of tribulation and trials, there will be so many wars and battles and so many men would be killed therefore there would be big difference in the ratio”.
Fifty women to one man. That is how big the difference is.
Sudden death.
That is heart attack, Strokes. These are diseases of modern society. Now it has become an epidemic and a big problem. Because of the modern life style of the technological era.
Hostility between people. People will not know each other.
You might know the person very well but the way you deal with the person is as if he is nobody. It's the law of the jungle. When the people are going to the brothers in public. They shake hands, they hug and they embrace but inside they're enemies.
The sky rains but nothing grows.
The earth is not receiving any more blessings. Maybe the people have corrupted the word so much that the rain that is falling down is not rain but it's acid rain. 'Allah-hu Aalam' [Allah knows best].
A time will come when the Euphrates river will reveal a mountain of gold.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “If you are there. If you see it. Don't take anything from it”.
The reason why Prophet Muhammad [Saw] is warning the people not to touch it. Is mentioned the following 'Hadith' narrated by Muslim,
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “People would fight on that mountain, and out of every one hundred. Ninety-nine would be killed and every one of them is saying: I'm the one who will be safe”. And that only happens with greed.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “Don't touch it. Don't take anything from it. Leave it. Don't go close to it”.
Animals and objects speaking.
This happened in the time of Prophet Muhammad [Saw].
Abu Saied Al-Khudri says: There was a Shepard with his sheep and wolf attacked and grabbed one of the goat or sheep and run away with it. So the Shepard followed the wolf and grabbed the sheep away from the wolf. So the wolf sat on its back on its tail. [So it sat like a human being would sit] and the wolf said: “Fear Allah! You're taking away from me, Food that was sent to me by Allah”. The Shepard said: This is amazing. A wolf sitting down on his tail, speaking to me like a human being. The wolf said: “I will tell you with something more amazing. Muhammad [Saw] is in Yathrib and he's teaching the people about the news of the nations before, the Shepard was shocked”. He wasn't a Muslim yet. So he immediately went to Madinah and then he went to Rasullullah [Saw] and told him what happened. Rasullullah [Saw] gathered all of the 'Sahabah' in the 'Masjid' and he told the Shepard to stand up and tell them. Tell them what you heard and he told them and then
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “The day of judgement will not occur until beasts would speak to the humans and the Cain would speak to the man and the shoe laces or the lather on the shoes would speak to you and your legs would speak to you about what your family are doing”.
But it could be a representing something else. It could be for examples: Representing mobile phones. We usually take the literal meaning of the 'Hadith'. That these things would actually speak.
The desire of dying.
Al-Bukhari narrates that
Rasullullah [Saw] said: “A time will come when a man will pass by a grave and will say: I wish I was there instead of you”.
That is how severe the conditions would be. That is because of the hardship. That the people are going through. These will be miserable times. When people will desire to die. [We ask Allah SWT for security].
The battles with the Romans.
This 'Hadith' is in Bukhari.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “There will be a treaty between you and the Romans”.
and then they will break up that peace pact and war would start.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “They will attack you. Eighty armies that will join together. Every army is twelve thousand”. 960,000. That's a big army. Rasullullah [Saw] says: “That you will have war with the Arabian Peninsula and you would win and then you would have battles with Persians and you would win. Allah give you victory and then you would fight with the Romans and Allah will give you victory and then you would fight Ad-Dajjal and Allah will give you victory”. Rasullullah [Saw] says: “The day of judgement will not occur until the Romans go to Al-Ammar or Jabir”.
This is in Syria. So an army from Madinah would go out to meet them.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “They are the best people of the earth at the time”. When they line up for war. The Romans will say: “Hand us over the ones who were taken us prisoners of war from us”. The Muslims will say: “We are never going to hand you over our brothers”. The war will start and it will be a vicious battle and the Roman army will be an extremely powerful and strong army during this battle one third of the Muslim army are going to run away. That's how tough the war will be.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “These are the ones whom Allah will never accept their 'Tawba' [Forgiveness]. And one third of the army of the Muslims will be killed and these are the best 'Shuhadah' in the eyes of Allah. Then the third left over the part of the Muslim army. They are the ones who will be victorious”.
Rasullullah [Saw] says about them: “They will never go astray. They will open Constantinople”.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “When they arrive there, they will not fight with any weapon. They will say: 'La ilaha illallah wallahu akbar'. So the first half of it will fall down. And then they will say another time 'La ilaha illallah wallahu akbar' and the second half would fall down. And then the third time they would say 'La ilaha illallah wallahu akbar'. They will open the whole town and they will enter it. They will hear a news after that. That 'Al-Massih' came out”. This is talking about 'Al-Massih Ad-Dajjal' [The false messiah].
And then Rasullullah [Saw] says: “Then Eesa AS [Jesus], The messenger of Allah would descend”. The war would 'Al-Yahood' [The Jews]. The outcome of this conflict is laid out in this 'Hadith', The Jews would hide behind rocks and trees and then the rocks and trees would tell the Muslims “O Muslim, O servant of Allah, behind me is a Jew. Come and kill him”. With the exception of a type of tree and the Palestinians who come from there. They say that the 'Yahood' are planting a lot of it. Rasullullah [Saw] says: This plant, this tree will not give out the information to the Muslim.
A blessed wind taking the souls of the believers.
Allah SWT will send a wind from Yemen. A breeze. That is softer than silk. It will take the soul of everyone. Who has even single grain of 'Imaan' in their hearts. All of the believers, their souls will be taken away. Therefore, in that time the only people who'll be left, are the people who have no faith whatsoever. And that is when the holy place will be deserted. That would also lead to the destruction of Al-Kabah.
Destruction of Al-Kabah.
It is going to be when this 'Ummah' start transgressing against the holy place.
Prophet Muhammad [Saw] says: “When that will happen then don't ask about the perishing of the Arabs”.
Then Abi Sinia would come and they would destroy Al-Khabah and they would take out the treasures of Al-Kabah. Prophet Muhammad [Saw] specifically mention to us who will destroy Al-Kabah in a 'Hadith' in Bukhari.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “Al-Kabah would be destroyed by Dhul-Suwayqatayn from Abi Sinia”.
Rasullullah [Saw] says: “As if I'm seeing him. Bringing it down brick by brick”.
And that is when Al-Kabah would be destroyed. Now Al-Mahdi will not be after the destruction of Al-Kabah. Al-Mahdi is before but I'm listing him as the last sign. Because he relates to the Major signs of the day of judgement like Eesa [AS] and Ad-Dajjal and others but the destruction of Al-Kabah and this is going to be at the end of times. That is just before the day of judgement. Al-Mahdi is one of the Minor sign of the day of judgement. We as the 'Ummah' of Prophet Muhammad [Saw] believe. That there is someone named “Al-Mahdi” who would come out in the end of times and rules this Ummah with justice. After it was ruled with oppression and that he is from Ahl Al-Bayt. From the household of Prophet Muhammad [Saw], and that his name will be Muhammad ibn Abdillah or Ahmad ibn Abdillah and he will be a descendant of Al-Hasan Bin Ali Bin Abi Talib, and he will be a descendant of Fatimah Az-Zahra, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad [Saw] and that he will rule over this Ummah for 7 or 8 years.
